Professor Eszter Banffy has been elected as the new President of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA), taking over from Felipe Criado-Boado. Eszter Bánffy  is a Hungarian archaeologist and academic who specialises in Neolithic studies.  Since 2013, she has been Director of the Romano-Germanic Commission at the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) who participate in ARIADNEplus. EAA strongly supports the adoption of the FAIR Principles by the archaeology community and the project looks forward to continuing to working with EAA in achieving this aim.
