DANS Data Trail  is hosting a workshop, How the EOSC Association stimulates community based Open Science, on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022, between 15:30 and 17:00 CEST. The workshop is based on the three Task Forces they are in involved in as part of the European Open Science Cloud Association which was founded in 2020 and aims at advancing open science in Europe:

  • Long-term data preservation
  • FAIR metrics and data quality
  • Technical interoperability of data and services.

These Task Force topics are all of keen interest to the ARIADNE community.

  • 15.35 – 15:45 Introduction to the EOSC Association and TFs – Sarah Jones
  • 15.45 – 16.35 Presentations from Ingrid Dillo, Marjan Grootveld, and Wim Hugo on their respective task forces.
  • 16.35 – 16.55 Panel discussion with all four speakers
  • 16.55 – 17.00 Wrap-up
