The CIPA summer school on “Cultural Heritage 3D Surveying and Modeling” gives the opportunity to scholars, PhD students, researchers and specialists in the surveying and heritage fields to deepen their knowledge and expertise with reality-based 3D modeling techniques.
The summer school consists of theoretical lectures (surveying, photogrammetry, active sensors, etc.) and practical work, in the field and in the lab. Gottingen Centre for Digital Humanities is running a spring school on 3D Modeling and Reconstruction with Blender & Unity 3D.  The school will bring together 20 international students who are interested in learning how to model 3D objects, how to manage 3D data, and how to create virtual worlds in 3D. The school will be held on 2–6 March 2015 at the University of Göttingen in Germany.
